About the Departmen​​​t

In alignment with the Saudi Vision 2030 targets, The University of Bisha goals, and our belief in the importance of training manpower in the field of applied medical sciences, the Department of Nursing started teaching in the academic year 1430/1432H. The Department of Nursing started in order to lead in the fields of nursing, clinically and by research, in the light of the international quality standards and advanced nursing technology.

Leading the fields of nursing, scientific research and community services in the light of national and international quality standards to address the evolving health care needs of the population and to advance the profession of nursing.

Program Go​​als

1. Providing prefect nursing education that qualifies the nursing students for labour market according to international quality standards.
2. Providing the public and private healthcare sectors with competent and well-trained nursing graduates.
3. Ensure proper training for student to acquire skills needed for high quality nursing care, management and safety.
4. Participate actively in community health services by providing appropriate health education and counseling services through collaboration with various community agencies to enhance social responsibility.
5. Demonstrate the professional standard of moral, ethical and legal issues when communicating with patients, healthcare professionals and the community.
6. Conducting a scientific research to community health problems by updating evidence for improving nursing practices.​
