The launch of the new visual identity for the University of Bisha
His Excellency the University President, Prof. Mohammed bin Mohsen Safhi, inaugurated the new visual identity of the University of Bisha. This identity aligns with the university’s ambitious strategy and aspirations to contribute to achieving the educational objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the "Qimam wa Shiyam" strategy for the development of the Asir region.
The new identity embodies the qualitative transformation the university is experiencing in its programs and specializations, which are tailored to meet labor market demands and align with the aspirations to drive the Kingdom's developmental journey.
Prof. Safhi emphasized that the new identity reflects national and educational values manifested in the symbolism of the new logo, its colors, and design elements. It also includes applications that complement the updated logo, showcasing the university's vision, aspirations, orientations, and future objectives. The university aims to provide a distinctive educational experience within a motivational and pioneering academic environment.
He extended his congratulations to all university members on this occasion, emphasizing that this milestone strengthens the bond between the university and its students, who confidently continue their education and pursue their ambitions, supported by their professors and the dedicated efforts of all university staff. University of Bisha Celebrates the 94th National Day and Showcases the Nation's Journey and Achievements
On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, the University of Bisha celebrated Saudi Arabia's 94th National Day in an event organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs. The celebration was attended by the Governor of Bisha, His Excellency Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Hamed, University President Dr. Mohammed bin Mohsen Safhi, university vice-presidents, college deans, administrative directors, faculty members, students, and representatives from various government entities in Bisha, along with local residents. The event took place in the university stadium.
In his speech at the event, the University President highlighted that the National Day is a cherished occasion, reminding us of the essential historical values and deep-rooted heritage of the Kingdom, along with the achievements made under the wise leadership, may God protect them, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
He also noted the recent achievements of the University of Bisha, including the awarding of the international ISO 20000 certification for several programs and obtaining a license for free and open-source government software. He affirmed the university's unwavering commitment to advancing its academic, scientific, and research missions, developing its educational programs, and introducing innovative fields of study that align with future needs and labor market demands, in pursuit of its ambitious strategy and in contribution to the leadership's aspirations, may God preserve them, and Vision 2030.
The event featured a documentary video, patriotic poems expressing pride in the nation, and a musical operetta titled "Land of Honor," which narrates the history and achievements of Saudi Arabia from the unification by King Abdulaziz Al Saud, may he rest in peace, to the prosperous era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, may God protect them.
The celebration concluded with the traditional Saudi Ardah dance, amidst an atmosphere filled with joy, pride, and love for the homeland, its glorious past, and its bright present.

The President of the University of Bisha Expresses Gratitude to the Leadership on the Occasion of the University Receiving ISO 20000 Certification
Professor Mohammed bin Mohsen Safhi, President of the University of Bisha, extended his deepest gratitude and appreciation to the wise leadership, may God protect them, on the occasion of the university, represented by the General Directorate of Digital Transformation and Information Technology, achieving a new milestone by obtaining the ISO 20000 certification, awarded by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Professo. Safhi stated that this accomplishment, along with previous achievements, would not have been possible without God's grace and blessings, followed by the generous support for the education sector provided by His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, may God protect them, as well as the continuous care and support of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Asir, and His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Satam bin Saud, Deputy Governor of Asir. Additionally, he acknowledged the constant oversight and insightful guidance from the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Council of Universities Affairs, Professor Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan.

University of Bisha Students Achieve a New Milestone, Winning Second Place at the 7th European International Conference on Industrial Engineering
In a new achievement, a team of female students from the Industrial Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, University of Bisha, earned second place in the simulation competition supported by SIEMENS at the 7th European International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management, held in Augsburg, Germany, with participants from 46 countries worldwide.
The winning project, supervised by Professor Khalid Ali Abu Hasal, involved designing an intelligent system to predict carbon dioxide emissions produced by traditional wood-burning heating systems in homes during winter. The simulation was conducted using SolidWorks and Proteus, with results showing that the system reduces CO₂ levels, enhances energy efficiency, and maintains a comfortable indoor temperature.
The system offers an effective solution to improve indoor air quality, reduce health risks, and create a sustainable environment. The award-winning students are Dohaa Abdullah Al-Subaie, Rasha Abdulaziz Al-Shamrani, Almaha Bandar Al-Khubti, Tasneem Mohammed Al-Dosari, Mona Hayaf Al-Fouih, and Wojdan Hamoud Al-Khathami.
