بحضور عدد من أعضاء هيئة التدريس وطلاب وطالبات الجامعة؛ أقامت وحدة التوعية الفكرية، محاضرة تناولت مفهوم الانحراف الفكري وأسبابه ومظاهره، والهدي الإسلامي في حماية المجتمع من الانحراف الفكري، ومفهوم الوعي الفكري ومرتكزاته. استعرض الدكتور راجح بن بطي المسردي، عضو هيئة التدريس بالجامعة- خلال المحاضرة- واجبات الأسرة المعتدلة، وأهمية تربية الأبناء على طاعة ولاة الأمر ولزوم الجماعة، واستشعار أهمية الأمن للإنسان والكون بأسره، مؤكداً أن دور الأسرة في الوقاية من الانحرافات الفكرية هو دور أساسي، ولا يمكن الاستغناء عنه؛ فالأبناء هم أمانة في أعناق الآباء والأمهات، وعليهم أن يبذلوا قصارى جهدهم لحمايتهم وتوجيههم نحو الطريق الصحيح. ونوه بأهمية الوعي الفكري الإسلامي، ودور الأسرة في تحصين أبنائها ضد الانحرافات الفكرية في ظل التحديات التي يواجهها الشباب اليوم من أفكار متطرفة، مشيراً إلى أن الانحرافات الفكرية قد تؤدي إلى تدمير العلاقات الأسرية وانتشار العنف والجريمة وتفكك المجتمع.

وقّعت جامعة بيشة، مُمثلةً في معهد البحوث والاستشارات، اتفاقية تعاون مع شركة Be Group؛ بهدف تشغيل برنامج الشهادات الاحترافية في الجامعة. وتتيح الاتفاقية توفير الشهادات الاحترافية بأعلى معايير الجودة، وهو ما يعزز الاستفادة من البرنامج من جانب الطلاب والطالبات وكافة الفئات المستفيدة من الجامعة، فيما يتم الإشراف والمتابعة من قِبل عمادة التعليم الإلكتروني والتحول. وتأتي هذه الاتفاقية امتداداً للجهود الحثيثة والمستمرة التي تبذلها الجامعة في إطار حرصها على عقد الشراكات والاتفاقيات مع المؤسسات المختلفة التي تساهم في تعزيز وتنمية قدرات طلبتها وتطوير مهاراتهم مهنياً؛ مما يعزز من فرص التحاقهم بسوق العمل.

دشّن سعادة رئيس الجامعة الأستاذ الدكتور محمد بن محسن صفحي، الثلاثاء 21 يناير 2025م، خدمات الجامعة بتطبيق (توكلنا)، وذلك بحضور عدد من قيادات الجامعة. ويأتي ذلك بناءً على تعميم محافظ هيئة الحكومة الرقمية معالي المهندس أحمد بن محمد الصويان القاضي باعتماد تطبيق "توكلنا" قناة إضافية إلزامية للخدمات الحكومية، وسعياً من الإدارة العامة للتحول الرقمي وتقنية المعلومات بالجامعة، لتنويع قنوات الوصول إلى الخدمات الإلكترونية.

The university successfully advanced from the "Improvement" stage to the "Integration" stage, scoring 84.18%, and securing the 6th position among the Education and Training Sector. His Excellency the University President, Prof. Mohammed bin Mohsen Safhi, inaugurated the new visual identity of the University of Bisha. This identity aligns with the university’s ambitious strategy and aspirations to contribute to achieving the educational objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the "Qimam wa Shiyam" strategy for the development of the Asir region. The new identity embodies the qualitative transformation the university is experiencing in its programs and specializations, which are tailored to meet labor market demands and align with the aspirations to drive the Kingdom's developmental journey. Prof. Safhi emphasized that the new identity reflects national and educational values manifested in the symbolism of the new logo, its colors, and design elements. It also includes applications that complement the updated logo, showcasing the university's vision, aspirations, orientations, and future objectives. The university aims to provide a distinctive educational experience within a motivational and pioneering academic environment. He extended his congratulations to all university members on this occasion, emphasizing that this milestone strengthens the bond between the university and its students, who confidently continue their education and pursue their ambitions, supported by their professors and the dedicated efforts of all university staff. On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, the University of Bisha celebrated Saudi Arabia's 94th National Day in an event organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs. The celebration was attended by the Governor of Bisha, His Excellency Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Hamed, University President Dr. Mohammed bin Mohsen Safhi, university vice-presidents, college deans, administrative directors, faculty members, students, and representatives from various government entities in Bisha, along with local residents. The event took place in the university stadium. In his speech at the event, the University President highlighted that the National Day is a cherished occasion, reminding us of the essential historical values and deep-rooted heritage of the Kingdom, along with the achievements made under the wise leadership, may God protect them, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. He also noted the recent achievements of the University of Bisha, including the awarding of the international ISO 20000 certification for several programs and obtaining a license for free and open-source government software. He affirmed the university's unwavering commitment to advancing its academic, scientific, and research missions, developing its educational programs, and introducing innovative fields of study that align with future needs and labor market demands, in pursuit of its ambitious strategy and in contribution to the leadership's aspirations, may God preserve them, and Vision 2030. The event featured a documentary video, patriotic poems expressing pride in the nation, and a musical operetta titled "Land of Honor," which narrates the history and achievements of Saudi Arabia from the unification by King Abdulaziz Al Saud, may he rest in peace, to the prosperous era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, may God protect them. The celebration concluded with the traditional Saudi Ardah dance, amidst an atmosphere filled with joy, pride, and love for the homeland, its glorious past, and its bright present.
