Dr. Jamal Kaid Mohammed Ali is a Professor of Applied Linguistics in the Department of English Language and Literature, College of Arts and Letters, at the University of Bisha, Saudi Arabia. He holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Aligarh Muslim University, India.
His research interests encompass a wide range of areas in applied linguistics, including second language acquisition, learner motivation and anxiety, language learning strategies, digital communication, and technology-enhanced language learning. His recent scholarly work engages with issues related to artificial intelligence in language education, with particular attention to language testing and assessment, ethical considerations, validity, fairness, and assessment literacy in AI-mediated contexts.
Dr. Jamal Kaid Mohammed Ali serves as an editor and reviewer for numerous national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has contributed to interdisciplinary discussions at the intersection of applied linguistics, educational technology, and language assessment, and is actively involved in advancing responsible and ethical assessment practices in contemporary language education.
