Program’s Mission

Graduating distinguished engineers, in renewable energy engineering and its applications, able to compete in the labor market and contribute to conducting scientific research, by providing a distinctive and maintained educational environment that helps in society development.

Educational Objectives

    Within a few years of graduation, our graduates:

    PEO 1: Will demonstrate mastery as professional engineers in the renewable energy sector by applying deep and specialized technical knowledge, innovative design principles, and strategic problem-solving to design, develop, optimize, and implement cutting-edge sustainable energy systems

    PEO 2: Will drive innovation in renewable energy technologies through advanced research and the development of novel solutions to critical global energy challenges.

    PEO 3: Will apply advanced ethical reasoning and social responsibility, rigorously assessing the environmental, social, and economic impacts of their engineering work to facilitate the advancement and implementation of sustainable energy solutions.

    PEO 4: Will exhibit advanced leadership skills and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams to devise innovative, strategic solutions for complex energy challenges.

Learning Outcomes

    1. An ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex and advanced engineering problems in renewable energy by applying principles, theories and concepts of engineering, science, and mathematics.

    2.An ability to apply engineering design to produce creative solutions that meet complex and advanced needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.

    3. An ability to Communicate in various forms to disseminate knowledge, skills, and research results related to renewable energy field to specialist and non-specialist audiences.

    4. An ability to recognize ethical and professional responsibilities when dealing with various engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts.

    5. An ability to Collaborate, participate in, and manage renewable energy engineering projects in a team whose members together create a collaborative environment, with high autonomy and responsibility establish goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives.

    6. An ability to develop and conduct complex and advanced experimentation and/or independent research in renewable energy, analyze and interpret data, and critically use engineering judgment to draw creative conclusions.

    7. An ability to acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies, and participate in academic and/or professional strategic decisions with high autonomy
