About the Unit


The English Language Unit designs and delivers effective programs and courses in the English language that serve segments of society through an advanced educational environment.

 


Unit tasks:
 

  • Raising the linguistic competence of students to achieve study requirements in academic majors taught in English.
  • Academic and administrative supervision of teaching English language courses at the university.

  • Developing the linguistic skills of faculty and staff in the various university departments.

  • Executing development studies, reviewing English language courses, and circulating courses that suit the needs of departments and colleges.

  • Designing specialized courses that meet the needs of the labor market, and insists the university's role in community service through cooperation with the relevant authorities.

  • Accrediting the university as a ready center for training in the international standard exams for the English language and its atmosphere at the university.

  • Promote self-resource sources.
