E-Learning Unit

       Welcome to the e-learning unit website through which we highlight e-learning in the Faculty of Science and Arts in Bisha university and on the role of this unit and the services it provides to develop and support the educational process in the college.

      Education has invested significant scientific and technological advances in information technologies and modern communication mechanisms in improving its means, and it has emerged to benefit from these technologies by establishing an integrated education based on these techniques, which is called e-learning, which is one of the modern methods in the field of education and training.

      Based on the keenness of the Community College to develop the educational process and courses and apply quality standards for programs and academic accreditation to improve the output of the college and activate the use of e-learning in teaching, the idea of establishing the e-learning unit in the college came as an important step to keep pace with the technological development in the field of education and provide e-learning services according to a strategic plan and executive plans developed by specialists within the college and the college aspires through the establishment of this unit to bring about a qualitative shift in education, and to upgrade it from a traditional college employing teaching methods Traditional to a modern college looking for sophistication and excellence in terms of teaching methods and the employment of technology in education and enjoy a high quality towards achieving continuous development and modernization that keeps pace with the level of this college and its history

Target groups in the college's e-learning unit

The unit mainly targets three main categories:

Students: They are the product that the college provides to the community through which the college acquires its reputation and prestige. The unit will have a focus on this category:

  • Electronic training 
  • Interactive lectures 
  • Electronic courses, recorded lectures
  • Distance learning

Faculty members: They are the producers and manufacturers who use their creativity and the tools provided by the faculty, technologies and e-learning systems to produce high quality educational materials that suit the reputation of the college and its scientific standing among students and members of the community:

  •  Training
  • Develop ing courses.
  • Teaching methods.
  • Lecture recording, electronic learning.
  • Developing technology skills.

Community: Through the development of educational and awareness programs based on technology and the provision of training programs through which the university's mission towards the local community in addition to providing technical and administrative advice in this field:

  • Add the technological dimension of the programs that the university provides to the community.
  • Publish some educational materials and programs electronically and support them with technology and provide them permanently through the university's website.
