Based on the university’s interest in providing specialized higher education to meet the Kingdom’s needs of qualified competencies with high academic degrees, the university has worked since its inception to establish the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies. Their admission to the various programs and the end of their completion of the requirements for obtaining the degree and raising to the University Council by requesting granting them the academic degree.
The Deanship of Graduate Studies began admission to the master's program at the University of Bisha in the academic year 1435/1436 AH (2015 AD), and the departments of the College of Education were accepted in the first semester of the academic year 1436/1437 AH, where the first batch was accepted in the Master of Education program in general curricula and teaching methods. In the first semester of the academic year 1437/1438 AH, the first batch of the Master of Education in Teaching Technologies program was accepted.
The Deanship seeks to continuously expand graduate studies programs in the human, scientific and health disciplines, and these programs will vary in terms of the method of study, as the current programs adopt the option of thesis and decisions, and some courses may be taken in the future in the style of thesis or courses only.And based on the objectives, vision and mission of the Deanship, it will move forward - God willing - towards achieving and fulfilling the goals and reaching the goals through improving its academic system in terms of inputs, processes and outputs, with attention to everything that would develop its employees through intensifying training courses, workshops, scientific forums and holding conferences And scientific seminars and attracting global leaders with expertise in the field of graduate studies to exchange experiences in the field of developing and improving graduate studies at all levels. The Deanship also seeks to set clear and codified standards for measuring the performance, growth and development of graduate studies programs, in accordance with the university's strategic plan.
          The Deanship plans to communicate and cooperate with all local and international universities in all matters related to postgraduate studies, as the Deanship is considering from the beginning to launch a joint program with a university in America, Canada or England in the specialization of curricula and methods of teaching the English language to raise the efficiency of graduates of this specialization, which will positively affect the teachers English in general education, in addition to considering a joint supervision program between some university departments and other international universities. To achieve this, the Deanship will seek to join the Council of Deanships of Graduate Studies in North America in order to benefit from the experiences of international universities in developing and improving the quality of student procedures and study programs in the field of graduate studies.
