On my own behalf and on behalf of my fellow faculty and staff members in the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, I extend a warm welcome to you.
The Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence is one of the specific specializations at the level of the College of Computing and Information Technologies and the level of the University of Bisha as a whole. It is the first Department established in the College. Through the vision and the mission of its academic programs, the Department contributes to the advancement of the education system, scientific research, and community service.
The Department's programs are designed based, not only, on international standards for technical programs, but also, on standards of leading universities around the world.
The Department also contributes to achieving the comprehensive developmental vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and enhancing the strategic national goals by preparing distinguished graduates ready to participate effectively in building the Nation.
The Department currently offers a number of different scientific programs, including:
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and
• Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence
The Department seeks to build practical excellence, scientific research, innovation, and achieve benefit for society locally and globally.
We always look forward to working effectively to localize computer technologies in a way that enhances the Department's leading role in preparing future leaders.
