Introduction:

From the standpoint of the social services of the University of Bisha, which is concerned with contributing to the quality of life and keenness to provide best practices and services to its employees and the people of the region, the Martyrs of Duty Unit has been established at the University of Bisha, which is concerned with the sons and daughters of our heroes, the martyrs of the homeland and the injured students and employees of the university, in order to deliver them with their knowledge and skills to what achieves them excellence and service to the country and the development of its society in accordance with the vision and strategy of the university.

 

Vision:

Leadership in providing services and care programs to the families and relatives of martyrs of duty and injured students and employees of the university according to an institutional organizational framework in a way that contributes to raising the quality of life and excellence in accordance with the university's strategy and future vision.

 

Mission:

Providing educational, health and social services to the children and families of our heroes, martyrs of duty and injured students and employees of the university, in order to develop their practical and scientific abilities as well as life, which contributes to supporting them in the future at all levels.

 

Target group:

The sons and relatives of the martyrs of the homeland from the students and employees of the university who were martyred or injured while carrying out their duty towards their homeland and their king, and who contributed to maintaining its security in the Asir region in particular and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in general.

 

Objectives of the Unit:

  1. Serving the children and relatives of the martyrs of the homeland, including students and employees of the university, and providing care and support to them in line with the objectives and strategies of the university.
  2. The families of the martyrs and injured of the homeland benefit from the university's facilities.
  3. Holding events and taking pride in their role in society.
  4. Concluding partnerships and agreements with government sectors, private sectors and charitable bodies to provide services, care and training to the families of the martyrs and injured of the homeland, including students and employees of the university.

 

Services to be provided by the unit:

  1. Assist them in admission to undergraduate and graduate programs.
  2. Providing the university library with all its facilities to them.
  3. Providing seats in training and educational courses offered or organized by the university.
  4. Honoring the distinguished academically and behaviorally through various events and activities and praising the achievements of the sons of the martyrs and injured  of the homeland,  including students and employees of the university.
  5. Providing health care for them, and providing medical services at the University Medical Center
  6. Providing and making available the university's facilities and sports halls.
