The genesis of the college
The College of Arts at the University of Bisha was established based on the decision of the temporary committee charged with exercising the powers of the Higher Education Council in its meeting No. (11) dated 08/08/1438 AH contained in the letter of His Excellency the Minister of Education No. (932) dated 08/21/1438 AH, where the restructuring was carried out. A group of university colleges to merge the human studies departments in the Colleges of Science and Arts in Bisha (male students) and the College of Arts and Administration in Bisha (female students) under the name “College of Arts and Letters.”
